How do you get past your weight or exercise plateau?

  • Change something. Intensity or duration. Don't diet but change something about your diet....eliminate just one thing.

  • i try a different exercise also i drink lots of green tea because it helps keep my weight in check. it works because i am 111 pounds takes a lot of discipline and hard work

  • It usually happens when I get into too much of a routine, so I will start to use a different machine at the gym or take a different route for walks/runs or write down everything I eat for a few days to see what I can cut out or replace with something healthier.

  • Definitely time to change things up. Try some new exercises and substitute them for ones you're currently doing. Re-evaluate your diet and calorie intake- as we lose weight, we need fewer calories, so it might be time to start making smaller portions here and there. Are you working out at a high enough intensity? Have you increased the weights/reps on your strength exercises lately? Don't lose hope, you've been doing so well! =)

  • Change up your fitness plan. Add more cardio or strength training. Instead of running go for a swim.
