Can anyone explain these shifts to me?

I'm trying to apply for a position at a local hospital but the position is for D, E & N shifts. What hours are those shifts??? Thank you!

  • Day evening and night. I would guess the hours vary by particular establishments definition. Night is typically around 10 pm -6 am Day being 6am-2pm Evening being 2pm- 10pm

  • umm, i thought it was 7am - 3pm, 3pm -11pm and 11pm - 7am. - that's what it is here.(Day, Evening and Night)

    P= 3P-11P
    N= 11P- 7A

    Sometimes the shifts vary 15 -30 mins either way-
