why is my son always pouting to get my attention to pick him up play with him anything . even if he doesnt want anything he it pouting and moaning , not crying. pouting, and i love him to death but its starting to get annoying please help

  • Just that......because it gets your attention. Ignore him when he does it, and respond when he doesn't.

  • It is about time for teething and that kind of behavior is normal for a teething child. Soon baby will be running from you, so hang in there and hang on to him he is probably needing some extra cuddles.  Good luck and enjoy this time!

  • He is doing it because it works. Give him what he wants when he is engaging in behaviors that you want him to continue and don't respond to the ones you don't like. If he is over 6 months he should be putting cause and effect relationships together so he has realized that pouting causes you to give attention.

  • Maybe he needs more holding, interaction and attention. You say "even if he doesnt want anything he it pouting and moaning " Maybe he wants his mommy to hold him!
