When you answer a question here on CM, do you

visualize what that person looks like? I'm guilty of this but of course it's not with all questions. Some questions I'm just offering my advice or experience w/out the visual.

  • Only ones that I know what they look like via pics (which means primarily the ones I'm friends with to have access to see their pics in the first place)

  • no but I do notice that the person's avatar will have an impact on how I perceive the words. People with sour or snotty avatars will almost always be taken as snarky or rude and people with cute or happy avatars will generally be given the benefit of the doubt.
