  • Bed time is 8pm on school nights for all 4 of my kids, including my 9yo son. In the summer they stay up later since they are usually still outside playing until 9pm. They go to bed between 9:30-10pm in the summer unless they aren't behaving and then they go to bed whenever I tell them.

  • She goes to her room at 8, and she can either read, draw, or write...except for Monday nights. Monday nights i let her watch the new Adventure time at 8. She watches it in her room.

She is usually asleep by 8:30-8:45. The reading, drawing or writing makes her sleepy which i like. But...every once in a while....she has a hard time sleeping & stays up till 9:30. But, she does stay in her bed & does usually draws...or reads...

During summer time, she still has to go to her room at 8:00....but i let her stay up as late a she wants in there...which usually is no later than 10:00

DH go to bed early, 10:00 every night we're in bed. So, those are the only 2 hours we have when we can watch our grown up TV shows & movies. It's also the only time we get alone together during the day. It works out well.....

  • My 9 yo goes to bed at 8:30 during the week, but can read for 1/2 hour before lights out at 9. During the summer she can stay up until 9 during the week, weekends she stays up until between 10-11pm usually.

  • We try for a 7:00 bedtime, but it's been tougher this year as she's had more homework, and especially now that it's lighter outside. We still push for an 8:00 but most nights we're lucky if she's in there to stay by 9, because she dinks around, etc. It's 10 minutes to 9 now, and she's in bed but I know she's not sleeping. We try to keep the same bedtime during the summer, or it's too much of a fight when school starts back up.
