  • I have known two couples who went through the same thing... it doesn't work for everyone, but for these two families the parents basically lived as roommates, splitting bills (including child-related costs), spending time with the kids separately, and having their own areas (such as bedrooms) in the house. It's weird, but it worked. The kids were well balanced as well. However any relationships each of them had was kept outside of the house, or they didn't have other relationships at all, which would be the downside to living that way.

  • Stay busy, lay low, and concentrate on doing what you need to do as fast as you can.

  • Stay gone as long and as often as possible. Avoid being in the same room at the same time.  Keep opposite schedules.  Save save save and get out as soon as possible.
