  • Are you asking about the possibility of solar activity near the end of this year? If so, I've heard of it ... but I'm not all that concerned about it. We (my family) can function with or without electricity, and have the means to generate our own whether the grid holds up or not. It's in fairly pathetic shape as it stands, but we've been planning for off grid living for a while. Even if the sun wiped out the grid, we could still make use of it ... along with wind generated electric.
