  • If he's not doing well in school and will miss a few days, and you don't have dates he'll be gone, then no, he shouldn't go. Yes, a vacation is fun. But school is more important.

  • if you have custody and it isnt in the agreement for visitation then I say no, If she has custody and it fits in within her time, you dont really have a choice

  • I would say no because she is not even giving straight info on how long they will be gone. If its not in the court papers that she can take him i wouldn't send him. And if it is in the papers it should say somewhere that she has to give you any and all contact info of where she will be and must give you the official leave and return dates.

  • If she by court agreement has that weekend than technically she could file a contempt of court order against your DH if he doesn't allow her to take the boy but she's only entitled to that specified time so if she has him for longer than that your DH could file a contempt of court order against her. If bio mom is reasonable than simply tell her he isn't doing well enough in school to miss any and if its like my DD's school they will call CPS if a child misses too much school or misses school when their grades are slipping or if they're out of school for any reason other than illness.
