  • your beta was 0.8??? yeah not pregnant would be 0-5 so i would say a false positive on the home tests is likely there are some conditions that cause false positives - some TTC meds and conditions can cause it

  • no i did not got to medical school, but i did go to 4 years of nursing school and have 11 years of experience in L&D and I am certified in inpatient OB in addition to having personal experience with TTC and false positive pregnancy test due to PCOS... why don't you respond with your actual profile instead of anonymously?

  • Anon, check out this website:

nurse_maya may be correct, but it could be that you are pregnant and miscarrying, or it could be that you're just one of those women with low hormones.

  • You got an awesome answer and your questioning her just because she told you the truth. .8 isnt even pregnant..... at all. Its a normal hcg when you are not pregnant. Do your research! And stop nagging at a nurse for god sakes. Pretty sure she knows what she is talking about!

  • Anything over a 5 is pregnant but I would be concerned because a five wouldn't show up on a test most tests need it to be atleast 20-25
