  • here is what i live by: love yourself and respect others around you. i always tell my mamaw if i'm gonna worship anything then its the ground under my feet. lol. we recycle, we try to live "green" , we donate to charity. i don't need to answer to anyone to know that i'm living my life right..only myself.

  • IME an atheist is a person who believes in higher power at all. a 'non-believer' is a term sometimes used to define any person who doesn't believe in (insert any faith here) The as far as (insert same faith here) goes I am a non-believer.

  • Define "non-believers".
I believe in something, just might not be what you believe in!!
Therefore no one is a non-believer from that perspective.

  • i think a lot of non-believers don't like the word atheist because so many believers associate atheist with "devil worshiper"..but really, idk..i consider myself agnostic and i am a non-believer.

  • I sort of associate the word aethiest with someone who really doesn't believe anything. I'm not religious, but I don't consider myself an aethiest because I do believe that there COULD be some "higher power" out there. To be honest, I'm not entirely sure what I believe - I'm in sort of a "middle of the road" place right now, so I don't think I am an aethiest.

  • An ATHEIST don't believe in anything .....
An AGNOSTiC considers the possibility that there could be a "God" or a "being" or a "Force", that creats. Agnostics are open to possibilities.
    There is a difference.

  • I'm sure there are those uptight "believers" that really think if a person doesn't believe the EXACT same way as the believer, then that other person does not believe in God (any god) and therefore, an Atheist.

I am a "non-believer" of the Christian belief system but I AM a believer in a higher power. I actually dislike the term "non-believer" because it does imply that one doesn't believe in anything at all.
