  • I kept mine, but I don't know what the socially correct etiquette is when something like that happens. I guess you could ask him if he wants it back and if he says no then you get to keep it.

  • I gave mine back, wedding band too in the divorce and he sent them back but that was his choice.. give it back

  • Traditionally it works like this:

    If the WOMAN ends the relationship, she is expected to give the ring back, it is seen as being tasteless to keep it if she has ended the relationship.

    If the MAN ends the relationship, he should not expect the ring back, and the woman can keep it to do with as she pleases.
