Breastfeeding mamas...help!! adult content

Ok, DS is 1 1/2 and still bfing. Well I dont know what is going on but the bottom of my nipples are really raw and sore! I have no idea what to do, they hurt SOOOO bad when he is nursing!! Help!!

  • Gradually start giving him regular food.

  • It can be that he's changed the latch... you would need to re-teach him. It could be that your period is returning. OR that you're pregnant again!

    Back to the same first aid as in the beginning. Breastmilk on the soreness, let it air dry, slather on the lansinoh.

  • Other Anon, why do you think he's not eating table food? A mother can breastfeed a child over the age of one on top of the nutrition s/he gets from regular food.

    Kids can freakin nurse and Eat regular food and drink cows milk from a real cup all at the same time. OMG

  • lanolin ointment. Lansinoh (spelling) in the purple tube at most retailers (Target) is a godsend.

  • I've heard that shea butter is good if you're vegan or allergic to lanolin.
