  • mix 1/2 cup ranch and 1/2 salsa to make a fabulous sauce. Mix it with the meant or pour it on top.

  • Use Doritos and Ranch dressing. Mix the hamburger and lettuce up. Crumble about 3/4th of a medium bag of Doritos. Mix together with Ranch dressing. YUMMY!!

  • I've never made it. I bought some tacos but the person who bagged my tacos put them in a bag with a 3 liter cake and of course they arent shells anymore. So I figured taco salad instead, but needed suggestions on how to make it.

  • We set up a taco bar and let everyone make their own. We have meat, of course, with cheese, tomatoes, refried beans, salsa, guac, sour cream, shredded lettuce, green onion, hot sauce, and broken shells for crunch.

  • OH Okay.... Just make a regular salsa, lettuce, tomatoes, maybe some red/green peppers Top it with the taco meat adn some ranch dressing/salsa and if you have some fritos those would be good crushed on top too.

  • Cook the meat like normal, and mix all your normal taco toppings together. My SIL adds refried beans to hers (yuck). Top with dressing of your choice - I prefer no dressing.

  • I make my ground beef into chili since I don't like taco seasoning. I put a layer of chips (or broken taco shells) down, then the meat, shredded cheese, lettuce, tomatoe, chopped green onions and then sour cream. But, I set all of this out and let everyone build their own.

  • Doritios s a popular variation, use ground lamb or something, add guacamole....try different cheeses.
