  • I have no idea what actual reading level my dd is at. At the end of first grade she tested at a 9th grade reading level. She reads everything she can get her hands on.

  • I really don't have an idea they used to send books of different levels but I haven't seen any recently. The last one I think he was one was E-11

  • I don't know. She's a great reader, but no one ever gave he a level.

  • She was in the 97th percentile (national level) for reading in 2nd grade; not familiar with GRL or other reading level standards used. Like the poster above, she reads anything and everything she can get her hands on ... I have to pull the books away from her sometimes (like at the dinner table or when she's in the bath).

  • My son is in 1st and is in a 3rd and 4th grade reading class. I'm not sure the exact term, but they use *AR* at his school meaning accelerated reading. I think all schools/districts in different states might different terms or words for the reading level. I just know here in upstate NY they refer to it as AR (with a number after).
