If you test positive for Group B Strep, do you have it with every pregnancy after the first one?

Or is it different for each pregnancy?

  • I am interested in the answers, too. I am 38 weeks pregnant with my 3rd and just found out I tested positive for the first time.

  • No. You can test positive and then test negative a week later and vise versa. I think they should really test when labor begins because of how it can come and go.

  • I believe I've heard it's more likely if you've HAD it before but it doesn't necessarily mean you will have it again.
