How far is your drive to work?

Right now I drive 25 minutes to work - we are thinking of moving and it could be 45 minutes on an average good drive day - I'm wondering how bad that really could be.. I know its only 20 extra minutes but it seems like a huge difference to me...

  • With or without traffic lol?? It's only about 8 miles away but that's either a long stretch down a main with a ton of stop lights or taking the busiest freeway in the city lol. It takes me about 20 mins in the morning, 15 to get home. With no traffic at all at night or on a weekend it's only about 10 mins.

  • It's about an hour, 40 miles one way. 400 miles per week, just to and from work, not counting any pit stops or weekend rondevues. After a while you get used to it, but somedays I find myself getting pissed off that I spend a mimimum of 2 hours a day in the car. It sucks but it helps me sleep at night having that financial security.

  • When I have to go into the office, it is about 5 - 10 min, depending on if I catch all the lights or not. I mostly work from home

  • 30-45 minutes depending on which way I take. It's construction season so it will probably take longer.
