Boys pee question/ So sick of sitting on wet seat!

My son is 7. I have caught him holding the seat halfway up, and he is the only boy here when my dh is at work. HOW can i get him to take better care of where he "goes"?

  • Have him clean up his mess each time he makes one.. He will learn :) Oh and watch out before you sit down until he figures it all out..

  • If my kids get in a peeing on the seat phase, they have to sit on the toilet instead of stand. Usually after a week of sitting they are ready to stand again. I have three boys, so I have been there, done that.

  • I usually clean the toilets but if I notice there is pee everywhere I'll get my 9 year old in there to clean it. I'm pretty easy going but I'm not going to be cleaning up somebody else's urine just because they're lazy!!

  • Oh I don't know but....have you ever thought about checking to see if it is wet BEFORE you sit down? LOL. Then clean it up?
Repeat to your kid that he MUST lift the seat all the way up. It will sink in someday.
