Vegan or Vegetarian Breast-feeders do/did you use Lanolin?

  • I didn't but not because of the "lamb" is meat issue. I am really allergic to wool and would not even think of trying it. Luckily, I really didn't need it either. Some tea bags worked just fine.

  • It's the oil from sheep's wool and sometimes it contains fats from skin as well...

    I love my meat! But I used Vegan salves/creams because I didn't want my kids to have the added oils and fats in their system so young.

  • I'm not vegan or vegetarian, but I'm pretty sure that Motherlove brand nipple cream is vegan.
