How low is "too low" for a baby's heart rate?

I'm pregnant with my third daughter and hers has been in the high 150s, low 160s for weeks, and today it was 128. It seemed low to me, but my doctor didn't seem concerned at all.

  • That's completly normal. As humans, our heat beats differently throughout the day. It's considered decelerating when you go below 100.

  • I think 120-180 is the "normal" range. Keep in mind that it varies with different factors, same as yours; maybe baby was sleeping today.
