13 weeks pregnant, can i use icy hot on my shoulders

I been having alot of pain on my shoulders and i was just wondering if its ok to use icy hot on my shoulders to help the muscle pain go away..

  • Yes. But use a small ammount. And if you can try to use a heating pad on low rather then the icy hot so that if it does start to get to warm you can take it of. Hope your shoulders start to feel better.

  • No, I believe this gets into your bloodstream. Your OB's office or Midwife's office may have a list of acceptable medications that you can use.

  • My OB said to use a heating pad or one of the disposable ones that you can buy that work for 3 hrs.

  • LIke a thermacare heating pad.. I just dont want to hurt the baby, And the pain is so bad.. Thanks for all the help..
