  • Each of mine has. My oldest was 16 months old when she broke her arm. It was a greenstick fracture just below her elbow. She was climbing onto the couch and fell (on a carpeted floor, no less). My middle was 4 and she broke her arm falling out of a top bunk. Her bunk was on the bottom, but she'd climbed to the top bunk to snuggle with her older sister in the middle of the night. She slipped right through the 8" space at the head of the bed where the guardrail ended. My youngest just got his cast off. He's 2 1/2 and he had looped his arm through the handle on our front door. He and his sisters were goofing around and he fell and his arm snapped.

  • My youngest broke his finger last summer at age 5. What was probably worse was the sheared off finger nail and 4 stitches that went with it. He did really well with the whole situation and only needed a tylenol here and there for the first couple of days.

  • 3 kids ages 6, 6 and 14. One broken bone at age 4 from jumping off of big sister's bed and landing wrong. I was warned by the ENT who removed the pea fron DS's nose with a vacuum to expect broken bones.

  • my 10 year old broke 2 of her fingers playing basketball when she was 8. I figured she would be done with basketball but she still loves it and looks forward to the new season to start.
