  • Well I'm sure he got a little jealous or something considering he went to Iraq 9 days after our ds was born.

  • YES, it was awful! He would get lost in his video games, go out drinking, start fights, tell me "don't worry about her" when she needed a bottle or diaper change. It just got worse and worse from there until we actually had to divorce

  • I've been lucky. DH is older (I am too) and really wanted children. He's been pretty helpful with our DD. Maturity probably is a big factor in this.

  • Nope, he's too busy being just as exhausted and sleep-deprived as I am from doing his share of caring for the baby. Idle hands are the Devil's workshop, if your husband has the time to be jealous, time to put him to work as a father.

  • No he wasn't. My husband realized/s that babies are a lot of work and someone has to do it. He is also pro-BFing so he knows he won't be feeding a baby unless I am not home.

  • Nope, not at all. My husband is not insecure or immature. He was too busy helping me with their care and so in love with them that he didn't have time to be jealous. How silly!!
