Positive ovulation test but...

i know that i am not ovulating. i took an ovulation test and it came back positive. can it be positive if im pregnant?

  • No, it can't be positive if you are pregnant because it's not checking for the pregnant horomones, it's checking for ovulation horomones and there is a difference. If it says you are ovulating, you probably are. How can you be so sure you aren't?

  • your body can be getting ready to ovulate and you are getting positive results and just not releasing an egg. i've had this happen. i tested for a whole month. i got a positive..then the line started getting lighter. the very next week it was very dark again. my doctor said that my body just wasnt ready to release the first time either due to stress or maybe something else..

    Overall-- yes, it can be done. Ovulation predictor tests will show a positive result when a woman is pregnant, as well as when she's ovulating.
