Anybody else getting vericose veins from pregnancy?

I have them on my calves and thighs and they hurt and are bulging. Is this normal? Will they go away or get better after delivery?

  • yes, pregnancy can definately make them worse. they will probably be less noticable after you deliver, but they won't go away. they will probably be less painful bc you won't have as much blood volume after delivery. the only way to get rid of vericose veins is by surgery :(

  • Yes :( mine faded a bit after delivery, but never fully went away. I also have these lumps in my legs that the doc said was fatty deposits. They can be so painful and I guess they will never go away either :/

  • I think the majority of pregnant women get vericose Veins at least to some degree. Oddly enough I had it worse while carrying my two sons.
