How much water am I supposed to drink in a day???

Ok so I've started to really buckle down and change my eating habits but I've read so many different bits of advice as to how much water I'm supposed to have in a day. I've read everything from 64oz to 1/2 oz per pound you weigh. Which means I would have to drink 114oz.
What is right? How much should I really drink?

  • The RDA is 2.7 liters (11 cups) per day for women, including water from foods.

  • 1/2 your body least yesterday, I drank 96 oz. of water, 24 oz of coffee and all the fruits and veggies I ate... I am 111 lbs and 5'1" BTW..

  • I have a 24oz water bottle that I fill four times per day. I also drink a diet soda or two...
