"Why should I be looking for a job when people on Welfare live comfortably". What would you say to counter this statement?

  • There are benefits to having a job, including self respect. If you want to collect welfare instead, go ahead. It's your decision.

  • That their definition of comfortable is pretty low because people on welfare have a hard time just paying bills.

  • Welfare is a joke and no one I knew when I was on it lived comfortably some did but they cheated the system I thought working 70 hours a week at wendys was better two shitty jobs beats the mother f out of welfare any day
