  • Nope, are you scrambling them? Do you add milk? If you are trying to cut the number back just do those 2 things and you can save at least 4 eggs. We usually use 10 eggs for 4 if we scramble LOL

  • 2 eggs per person should only be 12

  • Not weird at all. My family goes through about the same if we all eat them for breakfast (there's 6 of us and one is a toddler!).

  • It is high quality protein, my boys and SO go through an average of 36 a week between breakfasts and baking.

  • My toddler regularly eats 3 eggs for a meal.

  • No, I don't think it is too weird! My DS would eat eggs 24/7 if I let him, LOL! You might try buying Jumbo eggs, you could probably get by with a dozen in that case,, they are about 50% bigger than regular eggs,, poor chicken,, LOL!

  • I don't think it's weird at all. My 16 y/o son eats at least 2-3 eggs a day for breakfast along with turkey sausage, juice and toast. Eggs are an excellent source of protein & will keep him full for a long time.

  • do you make anything else with the eggs?

  • I'm sure if there were enough people in my house, it'd be the same way. My roommate LOVES eggs, fried on toast. We'll go through three to four eggs (sometimes more, if he's really hungry) each time I make it, and I make it about twice a week.
I've never bought eggs so often in my life.
