Which hair plaiting styles can i go for in order to avoid increasing too much pressure to my reciding hairline in the forehead.I have African hair?

  • stop doing whatever you did to break it off in the first will eventually grow back out.

  • You need to stop getting braids for awhile, keep that part of your hair moist and greased all the time until it grow back. Any braids you get will pull your hair

  • If you believe that wearing tight braids (cornrows) has caused your hairline to recede, you probably need to give up the cornrows for long enough to let your follicles rest. If you later return to braids, you will have to regularly rest your hair to avoid repeating the problem. If you want to keep a natural look (it sounds like you do) you can try a looser braided style...or

      Bantu Knots. Just not too tight. GL  :-)
