  • I had none until my last month or 2. Put lotion on your belly, breasts, groin, butt, hips, and thighs and pray for the least.

  • In some very lucky women, never. But for the rest of us, it could be anytime after we begin to grow and the skin is stretched. Most often in the 2nd to 3rd trimester, but it can be earlier. I had a few at 9 weeks with my youngest.

  • some people don't get them 'til the last week or so. I didn't know I had any until after I had my baby, they were vey light and small.

  • My did not become visible until after birth, when the skin was no longer stretched smooth. Then, you could see a whole stretchmark network.

The same thing happened to my breasts . . after I weaned.

I thought I was free and clear. Sadly mistaken.

  • I am 31 weeks and have only gotten some on my breasts (and its the under side of them). I put tons of lotion on every single day, hopefully not in vain. I keep crossing my fingers and hoping for the best (least amount!!).
