  • I have. I took Castor oil. I did it early in the morning and went to the hospital at 6pm.

I must note that my mother (a midwife) was with me the whole time...

  • I had my membranes stripped. I won't do that again.

  • What happens when you have your membranes stripped?? And is castor oil a major laxative, what is the danger in it?

  • It hurts like heck. For me it was just pressing in my cervix and pushing (forcing it to thin out I think) I just think that my son wasn't ready to be born and I want to go all natural this time... that is the only thing I did last time that wasn't. It seems that you have a harder labor if your membranes are stripped.
