Quick question about a reference letter I am writting... EDITED Proof reader need please...

I am writing a reference letter for my DD's sitter and my friend.

Seeing as I have never seen or written one before... I have no idea who to start it.

Do I just write it like and essay. Do I say 'To whom it may concern' 'Dear Parent' .... hmmm.....

Anyone want to proof read this for me...?  I'll PM it to you.

  • I've never written one, but any that I've received say "To whom it may concern"...but if it's for babysitting "Dear Parent" is probably appropriate too! I would just include how long she's worked for you, how old your kids are, and what you think makes her a great sitter.

  • good luck1) address who, duties, attendance, and length of time worked for you 2) address how your daughter liked her, you liked her and some of the thinks she did above and beyond 3) would you recommend her. Would you rehire her?
