For those of you lo-carbing it, how do beans fit into your diet?

They're high in protein and have lots of vitamins but also high in carbs. What do you do?

  • Since I don't eat meat, they'd have to be an integral part of my diet.

  • Do you lo-carb? I can't imagine you do if you don't eat meat.

  • If you are going the low carb route, beans are out!

  • Beans are not out on a low carb diet. Beans are really good for you and you should eat them in moderation. The only time beans are not recommended on a low carb diet is when you're first starting out.
