  • My children choose their friends - not me. If these kids are "mean" I can only guess my children wouldn't want to be around them, who wants to hang out with people who are mean to them? As for cussing, I don't buy in to "bad words" so that wouldn't matter to me.

  • No.

  • Nope, not if they were going to cuss around my child or be mean to him.

  • No, I have already had to stop my kids from playing with kids down the street for that very reason. They were mad at me because they are the only kids anywhere near them. They just had to get over it though.

  • No. You are the company you keep. You have control over your child's company, so make sure that he keeps upstanding company.

  • probably not

  • Nope...not at all...what my kid does and who they hang out with are still a reflection of me as a parent...I'm not going to be portrayed as a parent that is okay with thier kid cursing and acting a fool

  • Tough because they are neighbours! but that would be a big NO. I wouldn't want my kids picking up that behaviour or mouth. : )

  • I guess it depends. I mean when kids come into my house I have certain rules that they have to follow. I tell them up front these are my rules and if you can't follow them then you can go home. So I guess I would let them come over to my house because I can always send them home.

    Good Luck!

  • Well, I can tell them not to play with certain kids and not allow those kids in my house or yard but when my kids are outside playing in the neighborhood there isn't much I can do to stop them. They know, though, that if they are caught acting like that then they lose the privilege of playing outside alone.
