Can I exfoliate my lips?

I don't know what's up with my lips, I always use chap stick and lip gloss, but they feel a little rough, can I exfoliate them? If so, what can I use?

  • i have used a dab of vaseline on the lips, then take a soft toothbrush and 'brush' across the lips, back and forth..it works for me! i also ALWAYS use lip balm, so they rarely get dry or rough feeling.

  • i've used a soft bristle toothbrush after putting on a thick layer of chapstick...but be sure to moisturize them after you exfoliate.

  • go to marykay.com....satin lips is the best!!! chapstick has alcohol in it so it actually drys out your lips!! if you can't find a consultant, message me!!

  • Mix a bit of baking soda with water into a paste and use this as an exfoliator; it's cheap, gentle, and effective. As for chapstick, don't use the Chapstick brand; try the Whole Foods brand made with natural ingredients. And stay away from Vaseline; it's a petrochemical and toxic to the body.
