What do you eat when you're stressed?

My body doesn't handle stress well. I either can't eat, feel sick, or (usually)don't keep down what I did eat.

A huge bomb got dropped on me this weekend... good, and bad news... so much information! Geez

I can't keep food down, my blood sugar is soooo low! Any suggestions? I've tried crackers. Puked. I've tried dry cereal. Puked. I've tried juice. Puked. Macaroni. Puked... I could go on and on. I've been like this since Friday. FRACK!

Comfort foods? I dunno. Only things that sound good are spicy, but I'm afraid to eat them- they hurt coming back up. I haven't kept anything at all down in 3 days.

***No, I'm not sick or pregnant. It's stress.

  • I like some mint tea when I am super stressed. If that settles, I will try a little toast.

    If I am just kind of stressed, I eat black licorice.

  • I usually have toast or ice cream.

    But, to tell you the truth, when I am stressed, anything within 12 inches of my mouth is fair game! I almost wish that I felt sick with stress. Insteas, I feel ravenous.

  • Tea. I drink Celestial Seasoning tension tamer tea helps settle my stomach and nervousness. Works good. I can't and don't eat anything but maybe spicy doritos lol

  • I have the same problem.  When I'm stressed, I can't eat at all so if it's really bad, I take an anti-nauseant (sp?).

  • If I'm stressed I usually grab a bag of plain potato chips or chocolate cookies, something that will boost my mood
