  • Myself and my children all have that problem. My eyesight has always been perfect, but I cannot be outdoors without sunglasses, and the lights inside cannot be too bright. My kids are the same way.

My opthomologist seems to think it is hereditary, and nothing can be done about it. Pediatricians concur. we all have dark brown eyes, though, so I am pretty sure it is not a pigment thing.

  • i have light sensitivity, as does my oldest son. we both have blue/grey eyes. my eyesight is very poor though, but i don't think that has anything to do with the sensitivity issues.
