How far along do you have to be to find out the sex of your baby?

  • by ultrasound? by 20 weeks they can tell you pretty much for sure, but i think they can make a good guess as early as 16 weeks. you can find out earlier with an amnio if you need that done for genetic testing or something like that.

  • You find out as early as 12 weeks but it's not as accurate as 16 weeks. I found out what my first was at 18 weeks, second at 12 weeks, and third at 20 weeks.

  • Thanks Ladies! I had my first appt at 10 weeks, we got back when I am 13 weeks. Do you think they will do another ultrasound (the first was an internal)?

  • You prolly not get another one until 15-16 weeks for NT screenings and then they should be able to tell.
