  • Yes it does. In fact my favorite thing when I have a sore throat is spicy wonton soup. Opens up the nasal passages as well. The chilis have an antiseptic factor to them.

  • I've never heard of hot sauce being good for a soar throat. The one thing that actually helps me a lot is lemon or the little limes. I just cut them into think slices and eat them. You can also squeeze the juice of one lemon in some hot water and drink it.

  • it depends on the ingredient in the hot sauce. alot of peppers are going to aggrevate your throat. try honey and lemon juice in some warm water.
