I'm looking at buying some Vibram FiveFingers for running. I'm a major heel striker when I run, and I have the feeling this contributes to the pain I have in my legs. I have knee problems from before I started running (feeling better than it did, but still not great), and I have a spot on my left shin that keeps bugging me. Same one I was thinking was a stress fracture. I hope I'm wrong about that, but I still have my suspicions. Running barefoot is supposed to help your form, and help stop you from heel striking, and the VFFs would be a good way to do this.
