I would pay her somewhere between $50 and $100 for the two days.

  • Ask her how much she wants. Thats how I know what to pay. I usually ask before they babysit at all.

  • I think the age of the child matters too.....I worked last weekend, the babysister was there from 5:15am until 6:30pm saturday and sunday, we gave her $120 our DD is 4 mo. But this girl is also a close friend's daughter who lives next door and she's 20.

  • I would pay about $30- $40 a day...which is about what a daycare center would charge on a daily basis.

  • Daycare only charge between $2-5/hour depending on age.

Since it is the wknd, I, personally, would go $5/hr, for 12hrs, and offer to pay her $60 if it's at her house. if she won't take it, leave $50 for her somewhere she'll find later. If it's at my house, I'd do $75 to cover her fuel.
