Christmas Cards....how do you write this?

Another stupid question about Christmas cards... If it's to the family do I say, "Wishing you a Merry Christmas" or "Wishing you all a Merry Christmas" or "Wishing your family a Merry Christmas" ....Why is this so hard? Grr. Stupid rules.

  • Not to be a cheeseball, because I'm being serious - but what about just 'Merry Christmas!' It goes without saying that you're "wishing" them that. Then you don't have to deal with "both", "you", "all", etc.

  • because I didn't want the typical "Merry Christmas and Happy New Year" so I reworded the happy new year part and it doesn't sound good without the "wishing " part.... ho hum, maybe I'll rethink it LOL I so totally suck at this stuff, but I like to send out cards.

  • I usually write 'wishing you a safe and happy holiday season'. I address the card to "The So&so Family".
