What do you think

if a 15 year old child is molested or raped by an older person do you think that child is to blame too or just the adult

just so everyone is very clear i DO NOT blame the victim either. however my husband thinks otherwise. we watched the movie CAPE FEAR. and he replied its both their faults.

so what does that say about him if he said they were both wrong?

  • no one who is raped or molested is to blame EVER.

  • The child is a victim of a crime. You would not blame a 15 year-old for "getting murdered," so why blame them for "getting molested?" Victim blaming is sick and depraved.

  • Never the victim, regardless of age.

  • Hmm, the girl in the Cape Fear remake was seduced by a (fake) teacher - so you have a young teen being manipulated sexually by an authority figure. The ADULT is completely in the wrong.

  • The adult of course.
