  • I have an 8, 10 and 12 year old. They go to sleep at 11 PM during the summer. My dh has to get up at three AM, so I don't get that hubby time anyway. Maybe 9? That;s not too long after it gets dark.

  • Give them a weeknight bedtime and weekend bedtime, but dont have the times too far apart. It really depends on your normal schedule too, what time does hubby go to bed?

  • Now that he's 10 it will probably be between 9 and 9:30

  • Being a SAHM I do have some advantages on working with bedtimes. My dh has to get up early every morning even in the summer. Me & the kids dont. So for the tweens and teens they really dont have a bedtime, maybe midnight? My 6 yr old conks out by 9 so it doesnt matter with her lol.

  • It is the same year round. Week days they are in bed by 9 (4 yr old) and 930 (11 yr old). Weekends they get to stay up an additional hour.
