ASPARAGUS!

Ok dh brought home 4 pounds of asparagus... what can I do with this stuff besides steaming it? Any ideas? Thanks!

  • We did bacon wrapped asparagus and grilled it. It was pretty good that way.

  • Lol...I have to agree with Lucky...fry it. Mmmm. If I ever bought a deep fryer for the house, we would all be dead in a month.

  • You can grill it, can it, make baby food if you have a baby, freeze it for later lol that s a lot of asparagus lol

  • Bake them in a casserole dish with butter and topped with grated parmesan cheese. Delish!

  • You can make asparagus and avocado wraps they are pretty good.

  • roast it in a shallow pan. Toss it with olive oil and a touch of salt and roast on a low temp for about 40 min.

    It is GOOD in pot pie!

    It is also a nice touch to a pasta dish.

  • OMG I love asparagus. I would cut it up and add to soups or casseroles, steam it and put butter and salt on it and omg I could eat like 2 pounds of it just by myself when it's like that mmmm..... I've also seen bacon wrapped asparagus recipes everywhere but I've never actually made it. There's also cream of asparagus soup. You could google asparagus recipes

  • drizzle with balsamic vinegar and olive oil on a lipped baking sheet. put under broiler for 3-4 minutes. delish!
