Garlic pills and breastfeeding!!

ok, we all kno that mosquitos are starting to come out and they are only gonna get worse.. well i take garlic pills to keep them away, my question is not whether its safe for baby or not, my questions is, do u think the garlic pills will be enough for the baby or will i need to apply bug spray as well.. is bug spray safe for a newborn? as a new mom to a baby about to be born in the summer i just have some questions.. thanks in advance

  • I would be careful of taking garlic while breastfeeding. Isn't garlic a no-no for nursing moms? Spraying yourself with a mister filled with plain old Listerine works very well for keeping the bugs away. The store brands work equally well.
