Pumping: what supplements increase milk amount?

I have started to work a part time job and and my daughter is not just satisfied with formula. How can I increase my supply to build a nice stash of breast milk? Fenugreek capsules ( 610 mg) don't seem to be doing the trick. :/ Any other supplements, and how much/how long I should pump for?

  • There is also a tea called Mother's Milk tea, it doesn't taste very good, but it brought my supply up.

  • What worked for me was upping my calcium intake- a cup of almond milk every morning & a calcium supplement. I also added flaxseed meal to my diet, and drank brewer's yeast in a slug of OJ every morning. THAT tasted like hobo ass but it did the trick. Good luck!

  • Brewer's yeast supplements seemed to help me. Mother's milk tea did too.

  • I'm so tired I couldn't think of the name of it and went sifting through my medicine cabinet. Acidophiles is a live enzyme supplement that my lactation consultant recommended to me and it really gave me a boost in my supply.

  • The mother milk tea and oatmeal works for me. I only pump 3 times a day and 15 to 20 min each time, but I have a lot of supply so I only pump 3 times. I heard others need to put every 3 hrs , so depends how much you have
