What do you do with an expired carseat?

can it be recycled somewhere?

  • If anything call your local health department or fire department and ask them. I threw one out and had to run out the door to stop someone from taking it because it was broken. People do desperate things sometimes when they are in need so if you just trash it take off the cover and straps and throw those out separate. I like the idea of using them for t.v. time though may have to do that.

  • Rip it apart and throw it away so no one else tries to use it. You can just throw it in the trash.

  • It should not be recycled. Take it apart and trash it. We let ours use them, with all the straps and buckes removed, as tv seats.

  • i saw an ad on tv that showed a company that would take it apart and recycle the pieces. I guess im just a tree hugger

  • I read that you should cut the straps so someone doesn't take it. Thanks for the advice ladies
