How do you get a child over the fear of choking when eating? After It had happened to them

  • maybe try feeding them only soup and other soft foods (bananas, applesauce, toast, etc) cut up very small. Give them encouragement and take it slow. it is scary to choke!

  • Well she has been eating minimaly saying that things get stuck in her throat.

  • I can say it is extremely scary on both ends of the spectrum. I just don't want her to develop a post tramatic eating disorder
