Have you ever had cramps in your ribcage?

I woke up last night to cramp like sensation in front under the right side of my ribcage. Usually if this happens, I can take a deep breath and it will go away. Last night, it took awhile. I could barely take a deep breath in at all. Finally, I did and I heard something like a snap, and the pain was gone. WTH? No, it's nothing serious, I know it's some sort of cramping, like a charlie horse type. Have you every experienced that?

  • Sounds like you had a rib trying to slide out of place, and by taking the deep breath you allowed it to go back where it belonged. Happens to me frequently, I call it a side effect of having 5 babies in 8 years.
