Is there anything OTC I can take for a sinus infection?

The roof of my mouth has been swollen and tender for days. It always gets like this with a sinus infection. Normally it goes away on it's own but this has been going on all week and I am miserable.

Is there anything over the counter I can buy?

  • Oil of oregano. It's a natural antibiotic

  • Try any of the tylenol sinus pills. They sell them everywhere.

  • I'd just take cold pills, zinc and magnesium (or multivitamin that has them in it) and OJ

  • Thanks ladies. I have been taking Sudafed every night. I have also been using Tylenol during the day to ease the pain and swelling. I will pick up something tonight that has plenty of vitamin C and some OJ also. :)

daps.... is that the acutal oil or does it come in capsule form? I would think the oil would make me gag.

  • It's an oil, you put two drops under your tongue and hold it there for about a minute then swallow.
